MOT's
£65
Drop off your motorhome or van at Towbar and Leisure Solutions at any time during our opening hours, and we’ll transport it to the MOT garage for you. The garage can carry out MOTs on motorhomes, but they don’t perform repairs. Any maintenance or repairs your motorhome or van needs are handled directly by our trained technicians. Our service, including transport and the MOT, costs £65, with payments managed through us—repairs are quoted separately. Convenient, reliable, and designed to make vehicle servicing simple. Engine servicing
Regular mechanical servicing is imperative for the proper functioning of the chassis and engine of your motorhome. Based on the mileage covered, it is advisable to schedule a full servicing at least every two years or at 30,000 mileage intervals, whichever comes first. Additionally, it is recommended to perform an oil and filter change annually, in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer’s guidelines, to ensure optimal performance. As a value-added service, we offer a free mechanical health check when you opt for an oil and filter change.
Habitation Check
£235 for single axle caravan + motorhomes, £275 for Twin axle caravans
Motorhome and caravan habitation checks comprise of a comprehensive examination of the living space. The inspection, conducted by our AWS certified specialist in motorhomes and caravans, follows a strict procedure and covers a wide range of areas, including fire safety, ventilation and gas systems, as well as potential problem areas such as water systems, electrical systems, and bodywork. After the inspection, you will receive a detailed report with any problems noted and recommended actions to take
Damp check
We specialise in damp repair work and will investigate all ingress sites thoroughly. We will repair all water damage to the highest standard using only the highest quality materials. All repair work is subject to extensive testing on completion. We will be happy to provide photographic evidence of all work undertaken (additional cost). Repair Work Our damp repair process will: Test to identify the source of the water ingress. Show extent and the nature of the repairs required. Provide you with an estimate of repair costs. We will completely dry all damp areas, Replace or repair any damaged equipment/materials, Rebuild your vehicle and any consequential damage, Reseal seams/joints and/or windows disturbed by repair work, Retest all repaired areas prior to return to customer
